Gil is the Expo'98 mascot.
The mascot was conceived by Antonio Modesto (painter) and Artur Moreira (sculptor)and named after the Portuguese navigator Gil Eanes.
The munzee WAS at one of the mascot remaining giant statues available at the former Expo'98 site. Soon after the Munzee was deployed, the statue was taken away with the Munzee attached.
I moved it to the junkyard where this statues are stored when they're decomissioned. You'll be able to see a statue and a few spare parts... That's your hint. Get as close as possible to the statue and you'll see the Munzee.
