Hazelwood Park - Harry S. Truman Park - Lake Area

Located on back of metal sign near handicap parking and a short walk down on paved road from standard parking.

(Entrance to Truman off of Howdershell (park sign marks the somewhat hidden road)

Next to this location is the entrance to a 1/2 mile paved walking trail to the actual back of the park. From there the trails become dirt walking trails which connect this park to the St. Stanisslaus Conservation area trails.

Nestled in the heart of Hazelwood and tucked behind some very longstanding small businesses at the intersection of Howdershell and Lynn Haven Roads, Harry S. Truman Park has a lot to offer any outdoor enthusiasts. There are nature trails to hike and paths for outdoor exercise, along with fishing holes. Name after one of the United States presidents, Truman park has a rich environment for family play, group sports and one-on-one time.
