Robb Park in Coolbellup is named after Captain George Robb who on January 15th 1830 anchored the ship the Leda in Gage Roads. The Leda was carrying passengers, stock and general supplies on a trip from Sydney to Mauritius. He recognised that the new Swan River Colony would be the ideal place to for investment. He applied for a 2,000 acre (800
hectare) alottment which extended from what is now Cardigan Street in Hamilton Hill east to the suburb of North Lake.
Have a sit on one of the nice park benches (home to our Munzee) and have a look at the art work in place along the Wintefold Road boundary of Robb Park. Play equipment is available in the park at the Western end. We have placed ther Munzee at the Eastern end of the park in a magnetic key holder.
