As mentioned earlier though, the batch creation function doesn't include the code in newly created munzee QRs (they do appear when printing them individually though). I tested by batch printing one old undeployed munzee, and one new test munzee - neither included the code. The new munzee individually printed did.
@actualsize - it used to be that the QR was only the encoded URL of the munzee you're finding. In which case, anyone could create their own QR code of a munzee they were looking for (eg, solution to a difficult puzzle or task required), then scan that
when within 1000ft of the posted coordinates of the munzee - the app wouldn't know the difference and log the munzee as captured; thus, a simply accomplished 'cheat'. This code will ensure that only the owner can print the proper QR which includes the 'secret code' for a successful capture. Of course, anyone who finds the munzee will also then know the secret code, and be able to pass it around to people, but that's just as 'cheating' as someone telling another player the solution to puzzle. That's unavoidable. At least this prevents, for example, batch non-scans by people who just want to win points in a dense munzee area, for instance...
