Munzee GOLD RUSH!

This Saturday (9/17/2011 during CST) random munzees will be converted to Munzee GOLD RUSH status! The first to capture these munzees will be awarded the gold (50 points). Stay tuned for a possible time of activation.

Munzee GOLD RUSH activations will be visible on the map and in the list view with a special icon:


RULES:
Anyone can capture Munzee gold as long as you aren't the creator of the munzee. If you have captured the munzee before, it's ok. You WILL be allowed to capture it again and earn the gold.

Once the gold is captured it then converts back to regular munzee status and the gold is gone. First to capture gets the gold and to the rest....the spoils.

Already able to be visible on the mobile maps and list view. I'm planning on adding it to the website map by Saturday too. This is a gameplay element we are going to be doing a lot of special things with so we want to get everything working smoothly!

Unfortunately I will be away at a geocaching mega-event most of the day, and likely a housewarming later, so I won't have the time to get out and hunt. Oh well

Damn it I'll be in Munzee poor Ireland  However the good news is if one of the few are lucky enough to come up there is little cometition

I am hoping too the Randomness is somehow linked to location otherwise the Munzee centres of the big cities will be the only places to get a decent share of MY PRECIOUS
